I think about writing quite often. I will experience something and think about how I would write about it. And then… I don’t. I get busy. I tell myself an idea needs to marinate for just a little bit longer. I sit down, write something and by the time I done with editing process, the final edit is to highlight all text and click the delete button. A little nod to myself that maybe it just needs a little bit more time. Sometimes that is true but sometimes it is simply not.
So I am going to write some things here. I’m going to begin somewhere in the middle. I am going to simply let it be; let myself be. I am both excited and curious. What will be on these pages in the days to come? What will the crevasses of my mind reveal and in what way will I put digital pen to paper? How can I serve in this space and be with those that desire to ponder alongside?
I am certain that right this moment is a great opportunity to dream and to do; to be and to share about being; to invite and to hold that which we believe is good and hard and confusing and dear. Welcome to day 1 of my current season. I invite you to consider a season you find yourself in right now and notice how to simply be in it. Look around. What do you see?
